The Death Café

We’re honored you’re joining us for this meaningful gathering.

A Death Café is a warm, non-judgmental space where we gather to talk openly about death, dying, and what it means to truly live.

There is no agenda or goal—just heartfelt conversation, shared presence, and the reminder that in speaking about death, we often discover how we want to live.

Date: We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month

Time: 6:00–7:30 PM PST

Location: Cafe Nell 1987 NW Kearney St. Portland, Oregon 97209

We meet in the Oasis at Cafe Nell, enter through door on NW 20th Ave.

Getting There:

Street parking is available, though it can sometimes take a few extra minutes to find a spot. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time to settle in.

The location is also conveniently close to public transit lines

You might want to bring:

• A journal to jot down reflections and questions

• An open heart and a curious mind

There’s nothing you have to do—just come as you are

The space is cozy, quiet, and designed to support meaningful conversation.
